Plot a recorded plat Beta
Upload a recorded plat as a PDF. DraftDesk plots the parcels on it and returns one DXF for the plat, with a closure report for every parcel.
What goes in
- A recorded plat as a PDF - one sheet, or several sheets in the one file.
- Up to 40 MB in a single file.
- Up to 200 documents in one batch on a paid plan, with an email when the batch is ready.
What comes out
- One DXF for the plat, with each parcel drawn as its own figure.
- A closure report for every parcel: the gap between the last corner and the first, the ratio that works out to, and the area.
- Lines as LINE entities and curves as ARC entities - not a polyline standing in for an arc.
- Boundary, ties, monuments, curve radii, labels and misclosure each on their own layer, so any of it can be turned off in CAD.
- Where a parcel does not close, the gap is drawn rather than the ends being joined.
Beta
Plat plotting is in beta and is being worked on. It handles simple, smaller plats today. Check every plotted parcel against the plat before you rely on it, and tell us about a plat it got wrong - Talk To Us.
What it costs
The free plan includes up to three scanned pages, which is enough to try a short plat. A paid seat includes 5,000 scanned pages a month, and seats on a Team plan draw from one shared allowance. See pricing.
